SATURDAY NEWSLETTER Week of June 7, 2026
Subject line: Every step counts. Even the wrong ones. 🔥
Hey everyone,
Happy Saturday from Muskoka.
I've been thinking about something this week — one of those thoughts that hits you while you're sitting with a coffee, watching the trees, not trying to think at all.
Every step is a step in the right direction. Even when you're going the wrong way.
Because that's called a life lesson.
And life lessons — the real ones, the ones that cost you something — those are the ones that actually stick.
Here's what I mean.
I spent decades thinking I had to have it all figured out before I made a move. The right time. The right plan. The right everything.
Meanwhile, life kept going.
Kids grew up. Years passed. The pension got closer but the freedom didn't.
And then one day I stopped waiting for perfect — and I just started walking.
Wrong turns and all.
Some of those turns cost me time. Some cost me money. A few cost me my pride.
But every single one of them moved me forward. Because even a wrong step teaches you something the right step never could.
It may be hard to walk in the mud.
But eventually — you get out.
I know that sounds simple. Maybe even a little too simple.
But I've lived it. Thirty-six years as a volunteer firefighter. Decades in the trades. Cranes, welding, heavy equipment, long hauls across Northern Ontario. A lot of mud. A lot of hard mornings.
And now? I wake up in Muskoka, I work from home in my spare time, and I build income that doesn't require me to clock in anywhere.
That didn't happen because I had a perfect plan.
It happened because I kept walking.

I dropped a new video this week that ties right into this.
We're talking about the F.I.R.E. Method — Financial Independence, Retire Early — and how a retired trades guy from Northern Ontario used it to build real income from home.
Not theory. Not hype. Just the real story.

If you've been sitting on the fence wondering whether any of this is actually possible for someone like you — this one's worth 10 minutes of your Saturday.

The conversations inside PPP101 this week have been something else.
Real people. Real questions. Real progress.
If you're not in there yet — it's free, it's active, and it's nothing like the guru groups you've probably seen before.
No fluff. No pitch fest. Just people figuring this out together.
