Night out food
Kebab? Cookies? Nope, the Italian way is pane e salame! (Note how we don't say salami, will do a video on why English uses plural for stuff)
Night out food
What is this about?!
I'm not a chef, and I'm not a language teacher.. I'm just a bilingual guy from Italy that loves cooking and wants to create a community around Italian food culture. Below a couple of things we might be working on together on this community! * Cook authentic Italian dishes step by step 🍝 * Speak real, everyday Italian while you cook 🗣️ * Master essential kitchen vocabulary & phrases 🔪 * Understand Italian food culture & traditions 🇮🇹 * Shop, order, and talk about food like a local 🛒 * Build confidence through live practice & community 👨‍🍳 --- More Professional Version (in the end I do ask for money) **What You’ll Learn** * **Authentic Italian Culinary Techniques** Develop practical cooking skills through traditional recipes and regional specialties. * **Functional Spoken Italian** Learn useful conversational language focused on real-life kitchen and dining situations. * **Integrated Language + Cooking Learning Method** Acquire vocabulary and pronunciation naturally while actively preparing dishes. * **Cultural & Regional Food Knowledge** Understand the history, traditions, and stories behind Italy’s most iconic meals. * **Ingredient Selection & Food Literacy** Learn how to shop smart, read labels, and choose authentic Italian products anywhere in the world. * **Confidence Through Practice & Community** Participate in guided sessions, challenges, and interactive learning with fellow members.

Double espresso?
Today I'm in a Wework office so there's coffee machines, an absolute disaster for a coffee addict like me. In Italian we would call this a Espresso Doppio or simply a Caffè Doppio (when ordering a caffè in Italy, the assumption is that it's espresso). Well, if you ask for caffè doppio in Italy be ready to get looked at as if you were hangover. Some barista might ask you if you had a long night! Over here in the UK however, getting a double is normal.
