“Good Or Evil Hearted?”
“A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.” ~ Luke 6:45 NIV
As earthly humans we can be heartbreakers, coldhearted, stonehearted, give you heartburn, be halfhearted, and even greenhearted (generally refers to having an eco-conscious mindset, supporting sustainability, and nurturing a love for nature), but we need daily sweethearted and kindhearted individuals in our life at all times.
Take time today to read these Bible scriptures; Romans 12:9-12, Philippians 2:5, Proverbs 23:7, and James 4:11. Also meditating and pray for clarity for you.
Think about it. If someone would simply invest a little love, a measure of truth, and a generous degree of faith in people trying to do good, that person may not have such a hard time. God despises the proud but gives grace to the humble of heart. He uses the people who realize they’re small, to do things that are great. The line between good and evil runs through the heart of every human, often representing a constant inner battle between light and darkness.
