“Is This The Last Generation?” “However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows. And since you don’t know when that time will come, be on guard! Stay alert!” ~ Mark 13:32-33 NLT In every generation, there are those who never deviate from following the our Heavenly Father message faithfully. Such a person pass on these blessing to the next generation who come after them. “And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.” (Deuteronomy 6:5-7 NLT). So have you read the Book of Revelations. If you have then we know of the horrors that will ensue following the rapture of the Church. However, “persecution” is not the great concern mentioned by the Apostle Paul in 2 Timothy chapter 3, read it today. It is rather the “temptations” that this generation will have to overcome. Certainly it seems that Paul is describing here in this text is our current generation. It seems that we are nearing the end. The rapture must be close at hand but don’t be afraid. When all of the saints of all time are gathered as one in Heaven, there will certainly be ample time for many discussion among the new family members. Certainly one of the topics that will come up time and time again will be, “and in what time frame did you live in while you were alive on planet earth?” And we will say, “I was in that last generation just prior to the rapture of the Church. I lived in the the generation of men as mentioned by the Apostle Paul in 2 Timothy Chapter 3. “Do you realize that we are the last generation on Earth that knows what life was like before social media!” ~ Unknown “I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass from the scene until all these things take place. Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear. “However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows.”

“Choose Who You Serve” ““Now fear the Lord and serve him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your ancestors worshiped beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord. But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”” ~ Joshua 24:14-15 NIV Who is a servant of God our Creator? We are! Godly servitude is defined by humble, loving obedience to Christ, prioritizing spiritual impact over personal gain. Some people think that believers of God are separated into two groups: servants, individuals in full-time ministry and laypeople, church goers. The Bible makes no such distinction. Instead, Paul a tentmaker by trade-reminds the Ephesians that believers are saved so that they might serve, read and meditate on Ephesians 2:10. If there were no other reason to serve God besides gratitude for salvation, that would be cause enough. We are rescued and given eternal life along with the Holy Spirit's indwelling presence. Our service is an acknowledgment of all that our Heavenly Father did for us by sending His Son, Jesus Christ who will be returning. Many people, believers included, serve the big "l”. In other words, they're continually thinking, What do “I” find satisfying and pleasing? What do “I” need to be happy and prosperous? Here's a harsh reality and a simple way to remember it: If "I” is our master, we are committing I-dolatry. Anything given first place over God-including selfish desires-is an idol. Godly Servitude isn't just a good idea. God calls us all to be servants so we can each invest our life in an eternally valuable purpose: the salvation of others and their subsequent discipleship for His glory. Our job may seem small or our limitations great, but the “truth” is that we're all servants of Christ with a role in His kingdom.

“What Did Apostle Paul Say!!!” “Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:” ~ Philippians 2:1-5 NIV Being like minded is easy if you are following someone else, but be very careful who you’re following because eternity is at the end of all our live. Spiritual Christ like mind involves aligning all our thoughts, values, and actions with our Heavenly Father’s will through the Holy Spirit to reflect His character in daily life. Take time and focus, meditate on Philippians 3:15. It’s easy to follow "like-minded" in Christ by adopting His humble, selfless, and servant-hearted mindset of God our Father by prioritizing our unity, love, and service over selfish ambition. “The more interested you are in what God says, the less concerned you become about what man thinks.” ~ Andrena Sawyer “Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble. Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. For, “Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech.” ~ 1 Peter 3:8-10 NIV Amen…

“Hypocrisy Will Be Exposed” “When they arrived back in Jerusalem, Jesus entered the Temple and began to drive out the people buying and selling animals for sacrifices. He knocked over the tables of the money changers and the chairs of those selling doves, and he stopped everyone from using the Temple as a marketplace. He said to them, “The Scriptures declare, ‘My Temple will be called a house of prayer for all nations,’ but you have turned it into a den of thieves.”” ~ Mark 11:15-17 NLT The very origins of the word hypocrite describe it, in the Greek the word is ὑποκριτής hypokritēs and it occurs throughout the New Testament and Christ’s teachings. And it came from it is the regular Greek word for an actor. And Barclay tells us “It then came to mean an actor in the worse sense of the term, a pretender, one who acts a part, one who wears a mask to cover his true feelings, one who puts on an external show while inwardly his thoughts and feelings are very different.” So let’s start at the beginning which seems to be a logical and good place to start. Jesus warns us in Luke 12:2-3 The time is coming when everything that is covered up will be revealed, and all that is secret will be made known to all. Whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be shouted from the housetops for all to hear! But I think the bigger problem today is that too many people call themselves Christians and then deny Christ with their actions. We all get tired of people who profess their love for our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ but their lives show no evidence of that love. They want to love Christ and do as they like, but Christ himself tells us in John 14:15 Jesus said “If you love me, obey my commandments.” And he goes on to warn us John 15:10When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love. . . we’ve talked about proving mathematical equations by flipping them, 1+ 2= 3, than 3-1=2. So if Jesus said John 15:10 When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love. . . it is the same as John 15:10 When you don’t obey my commandments, you don’t remain in my love. . . And so Jesus warns us Luke 12:9 But anyone who denies me here on earth will be denied before God’s angels. Not a good final outcome to be denied at the end of our earthly journey.
