“It’s Not Your Burdens To Carry”
“Bel bows down, Nebo stoops low; their idols are borne by beasts of burden. The images that are carried about are burdensome, a burden for the weary. They stoop and bow down together; unable to rescue the burden, they themselves go off into captivity.” ~ Isaiah 46:1-2 NIV
The prophet Isaiah sometimes referred to his messages as “burdens.” The Hebrew word means something that is heavy and must be carried and delivered. We should have a burden for the world, especially for the distribution and scattering of the message of the Gospel. Ask God to give you a renewed burden for the world. Ask Him to show you people who need your prayers and your time for their salvation, and let Him show you what you can do starting today.
Satan is an unforgiving taskmaster. He loads his subjects with heavy yokes and sits on top them to stop them from moving toward our Heavenly Father. But remember that Jesus Christ is a burden bearer. He takes away the burden of His earthly children and carries and cares for our burdens. Take time today and meditate on 1 Peter 5:6-11 it is a clear message for us all to follow.
The promises of God are true and in Isaiah 46:4, he made a staggering declaration: "I will be your God throughout your lifetime until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you." Our Heavenly Father will not only take away satanic burdens from your life if you accept his son Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, he will carry and care for you the rest of your life here on earth to eternity.
“Not everything That weighs you down is yours To carry.”
