What are some of your teacher must haves for your classroom? Prize box toys? Classroom management? Decorations? Books?

Wanted to share a message with you all. We started back on Monday and students will start Aug 6 and I’m excited about this year! You might be that teacher they will always remember. Just the thought of you making an impact in their lives: maybe you the reason they want to become a teacher, nurse, a doctor… and any other career. Maybe being a good human… You make a difference!

I went to this school to help a friend set up her classroom, and when I walked in, I noticed there were about six… maybe eight mirrors on the wall. It made me wonder, why so many? Maybe the first mirror shows you the best version of yourself. But if it doesn’t, you have a few more chances to see the person you’re striving to become. Then another thought came to me… What do you want your students to see when they look at you? When I looked at myself, I can say “I’m proud to say I am the teacher I wish I had.” Now I have a question for you: What do you see when you look at yourself?
