The ultimate purpose of ICE-ASI is to deepen global understanding of individuals with hidden challenges that interfere with mastering daily life and participating in meaningful occupations at any stage of life - such as sensory integration difficulties. These individuals are often misunderstood, misinterpreted, or remain undiagnosed.
The International Council for Education in Ayres Sensory Integration (ICE-ASI) was founded to promote best practices in identifying and supporting individuals affected by these underlying difficulties in sensory processing and integration that represent the integrity of Ayres’ body of work. ICE-ASI aims at ensuring access to valid, objective, and fidelity-based information, education, and research in ASI® worldwide.
