Our inner narrative does affect our health....
✨ I AM Kindness ✨
For a long time, I thought kindness meant always being available.
Always helping.
Always saying yes.
Always putting other people first.
But I've learned something important:
Kindness without boundaries eventually becomes exhaustion.
When we constantly say yes to everyone else, we often end up saying no to ourselves.
No to our rest.
No to our priorities.
No to our wellbeing.
No to the life we're trying to build.
This week's challenge has reminded me that real kindness isn't just about how we treat others.
It's also about how we treat ourselves.
🤍 Speaking to ourselves with compassion. 🤍 Honouring our time and energy.
🤍 Giving ourselves permission to pause.
🤍 Respecting our own needs.
🤍 Choosing boundaries without guilt.
Because protecting your peace isn't selfish.
It's healthy.
And sometimes the kindest thing you can do is lovingly say:
✨ "Not today."
✨ "I don't have the capacity."
✨ "Let me think about it."
✨ "I need to take care of myself first."
As both a coach and a participant in this journey, I'm learning that self-respect and self-kindness often walk hand in hand.
The way we speak to ourselves matters.
The way we treat ourselves teaches others how to treat us too.
