Welcome to a New Year in The Forge
This isn’t a reset. It’s a return to the work. Leadership isn’t built by intentions, resolutions, or watching others do hard things. It’s built the same way strength is built in the gym: ➡️ Showing up ➡️ Carrying weight ➡️ Training under resistance ➡️ Repeating the fundamentals when motivation fades This year, The Forge exists for one reason: to sharpen your edge. Not theory. Not hype. Skill. We will train: - Courage — choosing the hard right over the easy wrong - Discipline — doing the work when no one is watching - Communication — speaking clearly, listening fully, leading decisively - Decision-making — acting under pressure, owning outcomes Pressure isn’t the enemy. Pressure is the tool. Steel is useless until it’s heated, hammered, and refined. Leadership is no different. So as we start this year, ask yourself: - Where have I been coasting? - What weight have I been avoiding? - What discipline, if trained daily, would change everything? This year in The Forge, we don’t wait to feel ready. We train until we are. Welcome back to the fire. Let’s get to work. 🔥

Faith-Driven Leadership Challenge: Step Out in Faith
I’ve been reminded lately that leadership isn’t about having it all figured out — it’s about trusting God enough to move even when we don’t see the whole path. It’s easy to lead when things are clear and comfortable. But the kind of leadership that actually shapes people — and builds faith — happens when we’re willing to step out even when it doesn’t all make sense. 👉 Here’s the challenge this week: Find one area where God might be calling you to step out in faith. It could be: - Having a conversation you’ve been putting off. - Taking initiative where you’ve been waiting for clarity. - Choosing obedience over comfort. - Letting go of control and trusting God with the outcome. 💬 In the comments: Share where you feel God is calling you to step out, and how you plan to trust Him in it this week. Let’s be the kind of leaders who don’t just talk about faith — but actually live it out.
3 Habits That Separate Good Leaders from Great Ones
Leadership isn’t about how many people follow you, it’s about how well you lead yourself. Others will see your personal leadership you display and will want to follow that. Here are 3 habits that I’ve noticed separate good leaders from great ones: 1️⃣ They lead themselves first. If you can’t lead you, you’ll struggle to lead anyone else. Great leaders stay disciplined when no one’s watching. They show up when it’s hard, control what they can, and take ownership of their growth. 2️⃣ They’re constantly learning.Great leaders never “arrive.” They stay curious — always reading, listening, and asking questions. They don’t just want to look sharp; they actually want to get better. 3️⃣ They encourage instead of tear down. It’s easy to criticize. It takes strength to build others up. The best leaders I’ve been around speak life — they spot potential and call it out, even when it’s still rough around the edges. 💬 Question for The Forge: Which of these habits do you want to lean into more this week?
