Demand cooling
Understand How Demand Cooling Works
Demand cooling (or liquid injection) activates when discharge gas temperature rises above a set threshold (typically ~225°F). The control module monitors discharge temperature via a thermistor and energizes the liquid injection solenoid, allowing refrigerant to cool the compressor head.
Key Inputs & Outputs:
•Input: Discharge temp sensor (thermistor)
•Output: 24V signal to liquid injection solenoid coil
