You're Not Imagining It
If you've ever said the word "accessibility" in a meeting and felt that moment of uncomfortable silence before someone jumps in with "yes, of course that matters," and then watched the conversation move on exactly as if you'd said nothing, you're not imagining it.
You're not bad at your job. You're not explaining it wrong. You're watching form win over function, again, and that's exhausting no matter how good your slides are.
Being tired of that isn't a sign you should stop. It's a sign you've been doing this alone for too long.
