This was a close I did for Inflate AI in October of last year. This wasn’t a “hard close.”It was a real ops-heavy buyer with real pain… and we mapped the build.
What they needed (in plain English):
- An agent in Gmail to help manage leads + reminders
- A middleman agent to handle scheduling back-and-forth (client ↔ subcontractors)
- Guardrails/approvals so the agent doesn’t hallucinate and send dumb stuff
- Less “busy work” and fewer dropped balls (they literally said it could save 2 hires)
What to study on the call:
- How the prospect sells themselves when you ask the right questions
- How you frame ROI without sounding salesy
- How you lock the next step (scope → plan → build) without rambling
