WHAT WOULD YOU DO? WEDNESDAY ๐ง
Real scenario. I want to hear YOUR answer.
Your 64-year-old mother calls you on the phone. She tells you:
"I went to the doctor today. My blood pressure was 158/94. He added a second medication โ amlodipine on top of the lisinopril I'm already taking. He said my labs are normal and I just need to manage my stress better. But he didn't test my cortisol. He didn't ask about my sleep. He didn't ask what I eat. He spent 7 minutes with me and I left with another prescription."
Then she says:
"I've been waking up at 3am every night for the last six months. I can't lose this belly no matter what I do. I feel anxious all day for no reason. And now I'm on two pills and nobody has told me WHY my blood pressure is high in the first place."
She asks you: "What should I do?"
What do you tell her?
Before you answer โ think about this:
She trusts her doctor. She's been going to him for 15 years. She doesn't want to hear "your doctor is wrong." She's scared. She doesn't want to stop her medication. She just wants to understand what's happening to her body.
So what do you say?
Here's what I want you to drop below ๐
1. What's the FIRST thing you'd tell her?
2. What's ONE thing you'd suggest she try this week?
3. Would you send her the Cortisol Cure Challenge? Why or why not?
There's no wrong answer. This is how we learn โ by working through real situations together. I'll drop my answer in the comments tonight.
