Is it just me… or is this kinda funny?

Most sci-fi casually includes gravity manipulation. Whether it’s ships with artificial gravity or tech that defies it entirely, the audience just accepts it—no explanation needed. It’s like we all instinctively know that the current model of gravity is wrong.

Is anyone else tired of being told we can’t have a future like that? That flying cars, anti-gravity, and sci-fi tech are just for movies and that that should be enough?!
