Pain is not just physical
Understanding this cycle was the first step in changing the whole narrative around birth. Why do our moms, aunties, and the women in our lives talk so negatively about it? "I was screaming from the pain." "I was begging for relief." "Just wait until you give birth." When these are the thoughts we carry into birth, we automatically enter the fear-tension-pain cycle, and that is what makes birth feel unbearable instead of manageable. We must have husn al-dhann billah (having good thoughts of Allah). He is the One who designed the miraculous process of birth, and so we must have good thoughts about birth itself. If you are pregnant or planning to be, start now. Identify your fears, unlearn what you have been told, and replace it with trust. Trust in Allah, trust in your body, and trust in the process He designed for you. Birth is not something to survive, it is something to move through with faith.

Home birth is a blessing
Assalamu alaikum dear sisters 💕 If you are here, it’s because Allah has placed the thought of undisturbed physiological birth on your heart. The kind of birth that feels peaceful, powerful, gets you closer to your Creator and transforms you in the best possible way. Alhamdulillah I have been through 2 home births in the past 3 years and I have gathered knowledge that I want more women to also attain. I would love to have you here, join my community for more 🌸
