In my business, The Mounting Man, early on I started to take the jobs that paid the most, and I'd spend more advertising dollars, and more SEO effort on getting those jobs. So instead of just focusing on people who needed any TV mounted, which are usually lower end jobs, one of the things I started to focus on were Samsung Frame TVs. Not only do they pay more (I charge $250 for 65" or smaller Frame TV installs, $350 for 75", and $400 for 85"), but people often want in-wall cord concealing ($150), or a recessed box installed ($750). On top of that, the type of people who buy Samsung Frame TVs often have more TVs to install. So instead of getting a one off TV mounting job that will pay $150 with my pricing, the total ends up between $500 to $1500. Those of you in other home service businesses know the higher ticket services in your field, so just spend more ad budget, and SEO effort on those higher ticket services. I started my business in late 2001, so you'll see I only had 3 total Samsung Frames. That ramped up dramatically after 2023 when I started to learn how to better advertise to the clientele that buys them. If you're interested in learning how I do this, I have a course dedicated solely to this in the classroom section called High-Ticket Service Academy. It's $770, and if you'd like a payment plan, just reach out to me at 612-505-3264 with a text and we can set something up.
