I’ve been thinking a lot about how the things we do “just for fun” actually end up shaping our mindset, our patience, and even the way we handle life’s challenges.
For example:
Someone who gardens often learns patience and resilience.
Someone who paints might see the world in colors, patterns, and emotions.
Someone who plays chess sharpens strategy and long-term thinking.
It makes me wonder… maybe our hobbies aren’t just hobbies. Maybe they’re the training ground for how we show up in life.
