Packing your food
Do you think it’s more beneficial to just purchase dehydrated meals or is it worth your time and money to do the process yourself? As you can see dehydrated meals and cost from $9 to $11 per meal. But what if you dehydrated your own food and meal prepped for your long thru hikes. You have to consider what you like to eat obviously but you always have to consider how much gas you will have to use to cook your meals. For instance you can dehydrate so many foods and create your own meals for less than $2 per meal. This goes without saying you have to have patience it does take about 8-12 hours for some foods to completely dehydrate. So let me know what you prefer? Would rather just pay for the prepackaged meals or take the time to prep your own?

Lovers Leap to Devils Gulch
This was beautiful and an intense hike. But it was worth it! From seeing Miguel’s from the top of the mountain to climbing down the steepest steps we have ever encountered. This is within the Natural Bridge Trail.
