Hello, High Vibe Tribe!
This is the third time, possibly the fourth, that I've tried to post this. I recently moved into a new villa that doesn't have Wi-Fi, and I haven't got my SIM card sorted yet. So I'm relying on café Wi-Fi here and there, and just as I'm about to hit post, the one-hour time limit cuts out and I lose everything.
So here goes nothing. Hopefully it works this time!
The other day, an idea came to me that I've decided to call the Abundance Audit.
It's a little money-maths life hack designed to help you hold a bigger vision for your financial future while still engaging with the practical reality of budgeting, tracking income and managing expenses.
Here's the idea.
Add a zero to every financial number you write down.
Let's say you earn £8,000 a month. For the purposes of this exercise, write down £80,000.
You go out for a meal that costs £45? Write down £450.
You invest £3,000 in a course? Write down £30,000.
You earn £3,000 from a side hustle? Write down £30,000.
Everything becomes ten times bigger. Your income, your expenses, your investments and your profits.
Hold the end result vision of being wealthier, experiment with how it feels to see, write and work with bigger numbers.
You can continue tracking the relationship between what comes in and what goes out, while training yourself to become more familiar with the numbers associated with the financial reality you aspire to create.
Rather than only ever seeing yourself through the lens of your current financial circumstances, you're giving your mind a chance to engage with a bigger picture.
Take a pen and paper. Write down your income and expenses using this tenfold multiplier. Notice how you respond to those numbers. What feels exciting? What feels uncomfortable? What begins to feel more familiar when you give yourself permission to imagine a different level of financial abundance?
And if ten times feels too small, you could experiment with adding two zeros instead!
There's no need to take the idea too seriously. Experiment with it, see what you learn about your own relationship with money, and take what you find useful.
For me, this is a way of bringing the idea of abundance into something tangible: seeing it, writing it down and engaging with it in a practical, everyday exercise.
That is what I've decided to call the Abundance Audit.
I hope you enjoyed this little revelation!
Yours truly, Phoenix.
Keep vibing high Tribe, and God bless all of you. Have a wonderful, abundant day!
