I used to think doing 500 things at once was productive. Beyond the sensation of getting things done, I was busy and burnt out. Truth be told, running on E is Exhausting.
Today, I have a higher capacity to produce high-quality work over a few projects. Yet, I still get spooked by burnout. Yeah, I get that business development can be overwhelming at times, but that's normal and temporary. That's where structure and systems come into play.
To curve my tangent. What is something you do to reduce the fear or effects of burnout when you feel the pressure to get everything done quickly?
I found that pausing to check deadlines and making adjustments as needed works for me. I learned that from my "yes to every project" days...a story for another day. Lol.
