Understanding Pacing
Daily Dose of Medicine with Nurse Nette: Pacing: Doing Less Without Giving up
Pacing is one of the concepts I want women living with chronic conditions to understand. Sometimes we overdo it on a good day because we feel capable-and then pay for it later. Pacing means learning to balance activity with rest and recognizing your personal limits. You can still have goals. You can still dream. You can still live fully. But you may need to approach life at a pace that respects your body. Slow progress is still progress.
Call to Action: Are you a "push through it" person or a "pace myself" person?
