Don't Wait Until You're Ready
One of the biggest traps on any spiritual path is waiting until you feel ready. Ready sounds responsible, but most of the time it’s just fear wearing a nicer coat. If I had waited until I felt confident, clear, or fully prepared before starting my journey, I would still be standing at the starting line. In the beginning, you’re not supposed to have it figured out. You’re not supposed to look smooth or sound wise or move gracefully. You’re supposed to begin. Readiness does not precede growth. It follows it.
Early steps are awkward by design. You stumble. You trip. You get it wrong, then get up and try again. That clumsiness isn’t a sign you’re failing. It’s proof you’re alive inside the process. Movement is what teaches you. Motion is what sharpens awareness. Waiting keeps you frozen in imagined futures and recycled doubts. Starting places you in reality, where learning actually happens. So don’t wait for permission, certainty, or confidence. Step forward as you are. The path doesn’t open when you’re ready. It opens when you move.
