I've spent years figuring out how to cast bronze sculptures at home without spending a fortune on equipment and materials. I've made plenty of mistakes, built my own equipment, and developed my own affordable ceramic shell recipes along the way.
I started this group to share what I've learned and help others get into bronze casting without all the trial and error.
Inside, I'll walk you through lost-wax and lost-PLA casting, 3D printing, mold making, ceramic shells, building furnaces and kilns, pouring bronze, and finishing your work.
I'll also share my homemade slurry recipes, money-saving techniques, and lessons learned along the way.
This is a place to share projects, ask questions, troubleshoot problems, and learn from each other.
