Happy Sunday funday everyone!!!
Today let’s talk about avalanche risk! She’s high risk out there in many parts of BC still! Be cautious out there with your skiers and snowboarders but also choose wisely where you park your machine while waiting for ski guests!!! It sometimes slips our minds that we may be in the path of an avalanche run off. Be careful and mindful when choosing a spot to sit especially if you’re shutting down. Also important to find a spot with good reference as many of these waiting spots are white, white, white!!!! Take your time and blow the snow off the landing if you can before you settle in! Also good practice to keep a broken flag in your machine to place if your planning on coming back to that spot.
