Mornin fellow blade slappers! The seasons are a changing. The air is crisp which could mean one thing… More Power!!!! Or it could mean winter is just around the corner 😳 Fall is definitely my fav time of year not just for flying but in general. The weather has that perfect fresh feel and how beautiful is Mother Nature with all she has to offer. Fall weather is beautiful to fly in and explore… until it’s not! Be mindful of the rapidly changing wx and make sure you have an alternate plan, especially on a long ferry across the province for ex… lowering temps mean cold mornings, fog off the lakes or river systems, and possible icing conditions. Yes it’s getting to be that time again when have to add another worry to the list… icing!!! Make sure your doing a good inspection of your machine prior to flight including a good flight plan checking weather for the upcoming day. If you are flying into wx that looks questionable slow down early and give yourself time to make the decision whether or not to do a u turn and head back to base or your original starting point. It’s not worth pushing the wx! Tomorrow’s another day! Have a fabulous day rotor heads!!! Fly safe and have fun!!

Another day in the field. Fieldwork can be both rewarding and yet challenging. We face many challenges as pilots whether it be making quick decisions due to weather or deciding which spot to land in a confined area and whether it is sufficient to land our expensive sky chariot there or not. My point here is to do your due diligence and take the time to that extra reccee and make sure there are no surprises. Eg powerlines, tail rotor brush, sloping ground etc… it’s always worth the extra circle or two when it could prevent an expensive mistake. Don’t get complacent in your daily routines and keep on keepin on! Have a super rad day everyone and fly safe out there!!!

Happy Thursday y’all!!! So today I want your feedback on my first patch I designed. If y’all are interested in this one I will make some more and possibly get into some stickers n hats n such. It’s Monday! Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend and enjoyed some Vitamin D!…. I wanna mix it up a bit today and ask you guys and gals if any of y’all may be interested in some heli swag?…. I’m thinking of getting into some little stuff to start and then expanding in the future.
