Hey Everybody! My apologies for the slow start, I’ve been recording content, going to be editing a whole bunch of different stuff into some quick, informative style videos and uploading them very soon with some courses in the works as well! Courses will be a way for you to get some insight from myself on what you actually need to know about Hydraulics, Electrical, and Engines! I’ll have some definitions, symbol legends for schematics, along with some of the most common failures I’ve seen, what causes them, and how to identify these failures. Did you know that you can option an excavator with a hydraulic attachment that helps contain contents in the bucket. It’s a hydraulic claw that clamps into the bucket. They come in all sizes for all makes and models. Some manufacturers make they’re own, some get them made for their machines by a dedicated manufacturer, and there’s aftermarket manufacturers that can find an option for whatever machine you run! The best part about this attachment is that it’s called a Thumb!

On-Boarding
Hello, and welcome to my Skool page for learning all things related to heavy equipment! The best part about this knowledge is that a lot of this theory and concepts transfer over to Automotive, Truck and Coach, Marine, and many other applications that use Engines, Hydraulics, or Electrical systems. I’m so excited to start this community to be able to pass on my knowledge and teach others the skills that made me more confident with myself. Even when I was in College learning these practices and theories, I always said the same thing to the classmates whenever they said they were confused about something. If I can answer your question I gladly will, and if I can’t, we will find the answer together. I would never want anyone to think that I believe I know everything. That’s not possible. But with proper resource allocation, and asking the right questions, you can find an answer to almost anything! So welcome aboard to my community, Heavy Equipment Hobbyists, and it’s nice to have you along for this journey. I look forward to interacting with you, and sharing my knowledge and experiences with you! -Logan Sears
