I was debating going back into the gym today for a deadlift/legs session.
After a heavy chest session on Friday and a busy weekend out and about, I’ve decided to hold off until tomorrow to give myself some extra recover time.
Although I want to train, I know that when I’m doing my top set of deadlifts tomorrow, I’ll be able to push myself that bit harder thanks to the extra rest time.
It’s important to listen to your own body, an extra rest day or two will not hurt.
