My favourite instruments were definitely the crystal bowls which feel like they encompass and do much more if one was to select only one instrument. The other instruments feel like they are excellent for specific punctuation points meaning for a very specific purpose and intention. The drums got right into my gut and the percussiveness was like knocking or poking things apart: the ocean drum felt like a good scrubbing of my insides: the Koshi 4 elements earth, air, fire, water chimes seemed kind of creepy to me in varying degrees, I wonder why. I will need to revisit that. The Tingshas seem like very useful indicators of ending sessions and their high pitch is more felt in the mind. Each of the 3 classes of the The Awaken Your Inner Healer Through Sound mini course provided an excellent sample of just a few of the many facets of the art and skill of sound healing. Kalee presents the information in a very easy to understand way combining technical knowledge with added insights that I found often lack in many other videos or classes about healing with sound. What she presented was more than generalized overviews of 3 different topics but also provided small examples of the infinite depth that each area has, instilling in me the desire to go deeper and relish each nugget and not just learn a skill but embody this into myself and incorporate this into my life. There are a lot of “instruction” manual type of videos out there which totally miss the whole point and erroneously mislead many into a flat comprehension or rather incomprehension of sound healing.
