The Purpose of the Schoolmaster
In Mosiah 3:14, we learn the Law of Moses was given because the people were "stiff-necked." When we struggle to govern ourselves with love, we often need rigid rules to keep us on the path. Rules are training wheels; they protect us until we learn to balance with the Spirit. Where am I hiding behind "rigid rules" to avoid the vulnerability of real growth?
