Imagine a world where climate change was OPTIONAL and we saved money by reducing our emissions!
I think this is very possible!
Over the last year as I set about to reduce my emissions I have saved money and emissions.
Some examples include:
- Going from spending around $64 every two weeks powering my gasoline car to switching to an affordable Tesla model 3 rwd that costs about $20 every two weeks to charge- net savings of about $90-100 each month with zero emissions!
- In addition, cost of maintenance has been close to nill over the year and a half of ownership, just $64 for a tire rotation after a year and about 8K miles
- Got about $10,000 in federal and state rebates the year I purchased the car (California, United States)
- etc. etc.
Also saved about $20/month by turning off my internet router and TV overnight when no one is using it
