I've been in this game for 21 years (6 years corporate before that), raising four girls as a single mom and have always known I was going to make a course (and a certification program for project managers) one day. Meanwhile, my business has been 100% word of mouth and has done EXTREMELY well... so I've never been hard pressed to change it.
Thing about being a parent is you never really know when that time is. One day you wake up and find out kids are in different stages and life has changed almost overnight. It's been one of those times.
Add in all the AI buzz that's been happening and there's just been this amazing surge of energy all around me (in my clients too).
One of my clients happens to be friends with Aaron and has brough him up several times over the years as we talk about people we work with who want to create courses but NEVER get the work done.
So finally, I figured I'd dive in myself and see if we could just help our people get their stuff out there.
The thing is, the best way for me to learn something is to go through it myself. So I just started mapping out my own things.
While I never follow anyone's methods super closely, I've found enough of a structure here get me to MOVE, which is always the biggest hurdle.
So, I'm super grateful for everything that's been put together because it kept my focus on details that matter long enough for my own drive and direction to kick in.
And IF you're like me and you feel like following something EXACTLY is not for you... then I'd encourage you to take advantage of what DOES work for you, let it guide you, help you overcome the stumbling blocks and friction points and where you feel you've got your own clear path, take it. It still makes what you're getting here invaluable if it moves you further and faster than you would have gone otherwise.
