Introduction + Why Growth Oasis
My name is Chris. I'm from New Jersey and my parents are from Dominican Republic. I'm an old soul 24 year old. I enjoy superhero movies, anime, and watching boxing! I'm a man of God who clearly loves self development. I love connecting with ambitious people and I live to help those who are receptive to help. I'm looking forward to having my own family in the future and being a leader God can be proud of.
I'm a multi passionate person who loves diving into these different self improvement areas. I have fun reading these different books, watching different videos, jumping into different conversation threads like Reddit, buying different courses/mentorships, experimenting through trial and errors, etc. That allows me to make this product/community the best quality possible for as many generations as the internet is around. I see this as a digital asset that hopefully touches the lives of billions.
The reason I created "Growth Oasis" (a self improvement community) is because I remember being a lost kid who had to figure out adulthood on his own. I was hoping to run into a mentor or a course that would help me in the different areas I was struggling in. That never happened. So that's why I'm building what I wish had existed back then, which is a community filled with ambitious good hearted people who empower each other + non-misleading education on how to thrive in life. Remember - be the change you want to see in the world.
The reason they say it takes a village to raise a child is because community is a necessity for us humans to thrive. We were created to connect with one another on a deeper level. To have each others backs on our worst days and to plug in each others holes. Team stands for "together everyone achieves more". And the lone wolf never survives. So it's time to get together and work through life together.
Why does Growth Oasis exist? Because there's not many mentors out in the neighborhoods (like how it used to be back before the cell phone/social media boom) giving people the wisdom and resources they need to win in life. And there's not many present parents in households nowadays because they're addicted to worldly distractions. So people turn to the internet. And the internet is over run by broken people who make detrimental false content. The way I see it - empty cans make the most noise. And just because they talk with conviction and they have a lot of followers doesn't mean they are speaking the truth.
The noise makes it hard to find non-misleading information that allows you to win. On top of that - people are limited with their time and energy working jobs, having a social life with their loved ones, eating, sleeping, working out, etc
This self improvement hub allows everybody to stay up to date on being the best you that you can be without toxic pressure that says you aren't worthy until you start winning. You are worthy right now. You just have to step into the light. Higher is waiting for you.
P.S. People who are losing are like a computer with viruses. They have everything capable of winning. They just need to clean the junk out and reprogram their system to win.
