Good Copy vs Bad Copy
The words you write on your About Page, in your VSL, emails, content, and ads can make or break the funnel. It's because these can either persuade people to move to the next step in the funnel or bounce right away. Here's some great basic criteria to watch out: GOOD COPY: - Talks about customers (uses you, their name or identity a lot, this is how you get, etc) - Use clear, simple words - Use multiple hooks - Talks about specific results  - Paints a picture in the minds of the customers  BAD COPY: - Talks about themselves  - Confuses people  - Speak as a general group (you guys, those women, etc) - Uses fluffy language  - Talks about features

3 Copywriting Rules to attract the right members and make more money
Here are 3 simple yet often neglected rules of copywriting that can help Skool community owners knock down their offer, message, brand story, and funnel. 1- READ OUT LOUD This is powerful. Once you've written your copy, read it out loud. This will let you listen from your audience's perspective and you'll get your own feedback on the quality of your copy. You'll improve your copy. 2- BE CLEAR, NOT CLEVER Decades-long concept, but still reolutionary today. Don't try to sound clever or qualified in a topic or field. Write as you're writing for a 5th grade kid. The goal is to get the message across, let the readers understand your idea and pitch. That's it. 3- BE SPECIFIC Niching down gives you an unfair advantage, always. When you speak to everyone, you speak to no one. When you speak to Skoolers looking to grow and monetize their commuinities, eveyone else, who don't have a community yet, are immediately disqualified from the message. And those, who have a community, can't help but pay attention. This is how powerful being specific is. Another reason it's so persuasive is that it shows proof that you know the stuff you're talking about. When you speak to a specific group of people you know their pais, desires, problems, and so you know the solutions for those probems and create a tranformational rodmap for them. This makes you "Authority" in that niche and the go-to gal or guy to solve their problems. That's it. Follow these basic rules of copywriting, and see the magic your copy brings.
