For a new topic request, let’s dive into “Buy Then Build” someday if possible– acquiring an existing business and scaling it up, versus starting from scratch.
- Is this a smarter, lower-risk path to entrepreneurship with instant revenue, customers, and ops in place?
- How do you spot targets, value them, finance the deal (SBA loans - what's similar in Canada, seller notes?), due diligence red flags, and growth tactics post-buyout?
Is this a good idea - homestays or rural ventures etc.
