Compost Tumbler Test Project
I have never had good luck with tumblers but I got one from (thank you) and I am going to give it another go.
Utilizing out composting guidelines from the composting material in the classroom of course.
Tumbler:
Ratio:
4C - 3N - .5HN
Goal:
Create a thermophilic composting within 21 days using a small tumbler.
- >131°F within the first few days
- Turn/tumble 3-5 times and after each turn hit 131°F
- Check biology after compost hits ambient temperatures.
- Check biology monthly during maturation.
