It's ok. It's normal.
Nature always gets a boat especially when it comes to gardening. Even if we plant at the right time and the right variety if temperatures fluctuate, our plants might not grow.
Here in Vegas we're having a heatwave right now. Therefore, things like kale, lettuce, brussel sprouts, even some of our onions and garlic are bolting, so there won't be any of those this season.
