The Co-Living Business Conference was AMAZING
Hey hey! Phew!!!! I'm still coming down from the high of the Co-Living Business Conference. I haven't had a chance to gather the phots, videos, or my thoughts. 😄 If you missed it this year, you've got to be in the room next year.

If You’re Starting a Group Home Without Solid Policies & Procedures… Read
One of the biggest mistakes new group home owners make is focusing only on licensing but not building strong Policy & Procedure manuals. Your policies are not just paperwork. They protect you. They protect your staff. They protect your residents. And they protect your license. Here’s what every compliant group home should have documented: ✅ Admission & Discharge Procedures ✅ Resident Rights Policy ✅ Medication Management Procedures ✅ Incident Reporting Process ✅ Staff Roles & Responsibilities ✅ Abuse & Neglect Prevention Policy ✅ Emergency & Disaster Plan ✅ HIPAA & Confidentiality Guidelines ✅ Behavior Management Protocol ✅ Documentation & Recordkeeping Standards Without these clearly written, you’re exposed to: ❌ Citations during inspections ❌ Liability issues ❌ Staff confusion & inconsistency ❌ Delays in approval or contract opportunities Strong policies don’t just help you pass inspections, they help you run a structured, scalable, and fundable group home. If you’re starting or restructuring and unsure your policies meet state and federal standards, comment “POLICY” or send me a DM. Let’s secure your foundation before issues arise.
Ideas on screening the best tenants
I have two homes to fill. I have a question. One of the ladies that want to move in is on parole for watching pornography of a minor, served 34 months. She mentioned that they would pass out flyers in the mail if she moves in. The house is currently empty, she would be the first tenants. I just declined a male on ssi that admitted to doing drugs. Smoking is allowed outside but no illicit drugs. What are your thoughts? Give me your ideas
Focus Drop is live: Start Outreach
This is where momentum actually starts. No outreach = no residents. If you’re in Insider (Premium) or Execution Lab (VIP), go to the Classroom to complete it and comment DONE.
