I'm Steve Peak — a permaculture teacher, regenerative farmer, engineer, and way too much else.
I live on 20 acres of volcanic tropical land in Hawaii, where I grow breadfruit, cacao, moringa, and a long list of things most people have never heard of. I raise animals, build with bamboo, repair machines, and run a community. I've taught permaculture across multiple countries, designed apprenticeship programs, and built a software platform for small eco-businesses on the side.
And trust me when I say: None of this is unreachable. I didn't grow up doing it. I learned. And that's the whole point of Groundwork.
It's time to get resilient, to build a sustainable, independent, sovereign life that isn't just good for you, it's good for everyone. Build community, grow food, fix and build anything, produce your own energy... and release dependence on the systems that just aren't working any more. You can learn all the skills, and I'm going to teach you.
