Who Gets To Tell Your Story?
Today’s GRIEF Talk™ reflection invites us to consider how much of our identity has been influenced by the stories others have told about us. Sometimes we carry the weight of those interpretations for years without recognizing how they have affected our confidence, relationships, and sense of possibility. Part of healing involves finding the language to acknowledge our experiences while giving ourselves permission to grow beyond them. As you reflect today, what part of your story are you learning to reclaim, redefine, or finally tell in your own words? #GRIEFTalk #IdentityGRIEF #LanguageBeforeLabels #TraumaInformedHealing #GRIEFTalkCommunity http://www.GRIEFxTalk.com

Who Gets To Tell Your Story?
When the Future You Planned is Interrupted
Today, I want us to consider a question that reaches beyond disappointment: What happens when the future we prepared for is no longer the future available to us? Sometimes we spend so much time trying to recover what was interrupted that we struggle to recognize the possibilities still before us. Within our GRIEF Talk Trauma Network, we are learning that healing does not always mean returning to the person we were or the life we expected. Our reflection today: What future have you had to release, and what new possibility are you beginning to give yourself permission to explore? #GRIEFTalk #LanguageBeforeLabels #IdentityGRIEF #HealingWithIntention #PermissionToBecome http://www.GRIEFxTalk.com

When the Future You Planned is Interrupted
What Did You Lose that No One Acknowledged?
As we begin another week of reflection in the GRIEF Talk Trauma Network, I want us to consider the losses we may have carried without acknowledgment. Some experiences changed the direction of our lives, affected our sense of identity, or left emotional wounds that we never fully understood. In this community, we recognize that GRIEF is bigger than death and that finding language for what we have experienced can help us begin making sense of it. If you feel comfortable sharing, what is one loss you have experienced that deserves acknowledgment, even if no one else recognized it? #GRIEFTalk #IdentityGRIEF #LanguageBeforeLabels #TraumaInformedHealing #HealingWithIntention www.GRIEFxTalk.com

What Would You Tell Your Younger Self Today?
As we close this week’s reflection on who we became along the way, I want us to consider something personal. If you could sit down with your 18-year-old or 21-year-old self, what would you say about the life that was waiting ahead? Perhaps there are experiences you wish you could have prevented, dreams you would encourage yourself to pursue, or moments when you simply needed someone to tell you that you would make it through. Within our GRIEF Talk™ community, I invite you to reflect on this question and share whatever feels comfortable: What does your younger self need to hear from you today?

Who Did You Become Along the Way?
Earlier we explored how our definitions of success evolve as life unfolds. I want us to take that conversation a little deeper because sometimes we carry expectations that no longer reflect who we are, yet we struggle to release them because of how much they once meant to us. At GRIEF Talk™, we recognize that GRIEF is bigger than death, and sometimes it includes the future we once imagined for ourselves. Community Reflection: Have you ever had to release a dream or redefine a goal because the person you became no longer wanted what the person you once were desired? http://www.GRIEFxTalk.com
