The Standing Room is a community for fathers navigating grief after the death of a child. It’s built from lived experience, not theory, for dads who want practical support, real tools, and a network of men who understand what it’s like.
Grief doesn’t stay at home. It shows up at work, in relationships, in parenting, and in how you see yourself as a dad. Ignoring it doesn’t make it smaller. It just makes the darkness bigger.
In this community, you’ll get:
- Honest conversations with other dads still standing
- Practical language and tools to manage grief and build resilience
- Support for navigating loss without pretending you’re fine
- Find parent advocacy and research opportunities
You’re not alone. The Standing Room gives you perspective, connection, and the guidance to keep moving forward while carrying what matters most.
NOTE: As this community is a space where Dads need to feel comfortable sharing their most vulnerable experiences. Only Bereaved Dads will be approved to join the community.
