I am curious if there are some general rules of thumb for maintaining a mother plant.
I have five clones that I kept from the 11 clones I took from the photoperiod I harvested about a month ago. I have three of them in a tent and they just got flipped to flower last weekend. The two others are each in their own 2x2 tents and I am planning on keeping one of them as a mother plant to clip more clones from.
I have been watering and feeding them regularly and keeping them trimmed up so they aren’t growing bigger than the tents they are in. Taking off any leaves that don’t look great and just maintaining a stable environment for them.
Generally, what do others do to maintain their mother plants? Any special tips or tricks to keep them health and happy? How long do people generally keep their mother plants?
Thanks for the help and info!
