I'm a speaker, educator, and a mom. 15 years into my marketing career I experienced a shift — up to that point building campaigns, capturing attention, keeping people coming back was my thing. Then the research started coming out about what these tools were doing to our kids (around 2015). And I couldn't get past it. I understood how the machine worked because I was on the inside and now I was confronted. The sophistication of these technologies, the deliberate targeting of young people, the harm that was quietly accumulating — it caused a tectonic shift in how I saw my work and career. It took a few years for me to start to find my way. I started coaching young people in 2019, then speaking out on the realities of our current digital worlds, their impacts on successfully guiding youth and the pressures on parenting. Now, most recently, I've been moved to create this community. Most parents share how alone they feel. Well that ends here. You are not alone. I'm about protection. Our kids are SO vulnerable online. I'm on a mission to give kids back their childhoods. They deserve the chance to develop to their full potential, launch powerfully into adulthood and thrive.
