This Vibe Coded App Makes Me $10k/yr
About 6-ish months ago, I dove myself into a major challenge.
A friend of mine who is a tax consultant came to me inquiring if I could help him build this software app...
The idea was simple.
The Federal Revenue Board came out with a new rule, all sales tax registered businesses had to submit their invoices to them in real time using their new Digital Invoice API.
A Business and an API? Doesn't sound like a rather good combination.
The idea intrigued me, but I knew I had to move fast.
If I handed this over to my dev team, they would've have ended up taking 6 months. Didn't have that kind of time... So I took it upon myself.
A lot of trial and error, figuring things out as I go and 2 months later, it was done.
6 months later... The app is used by dozens of companies, including some big local pharma companies, now processing over 150,000+ invoices every single month. Revenue-wise, that's Billions of Rupees.
And the best part? It doesn't require constant development, maybe 1 day of maintenance and changes per month. It makes me $10k/yr almost passively (and about 90% of it is profit).
