This Vibe Coded App Makes Me $10k/yr
About 6-ish months ago, I dove myself into a major challenge. A friend of mine who is a tax consultant came to me inquiring if I could help him build this software app... The idea was simple. The Federal Revenue Board came out with a new rule, all sales tax registered businesses had to submit their invoices to them in real time using their new Digital Invoice API. A Business and an API? Doesn't sound like a rather good combination. The idea intrigued me, but I knew I had to move fast. If I handed this over to my dev team, they would've have ended up taking 6 months. Didn't have that kind of time... So I took it upon myself. A lot of trial and error, figuring things out as I go and 2 months later, it was done. I built InvoiceGorilla.pk completely using A.I - no developer at all. 6 months later... The app is used by dozens of companies, including some big local pharma companies, now processing over 150,000+ invoices every single month. Revenue-wise, that's Billions of Rupees. And the best part? It doesn't require constant development, maybe 1 day of maintenance and changes per month. It makes me $10k/yr almost passively (and about 90% of it is profit). I will be publishing a full course inside of this community going over how anyone can build their own SaaS using Claude Code.

The A.I Dilemma
Welcome everyone! Now that you're here, I want to start off by saying we're treading in scary times. As much as I love how easy A.I has made things for me as a software company founder, I also fear that what I do may become obsolete within the next few years. So the best I can do is, ensure that I stay atop of what's happening in the A.I space and how can I capitalize on it to the best of my capability. If I am being honest, it's overwhelming. The amount of new changes and shifts happening on a daily basis are mental to say the least. My goal of starting this community is simple. I want you to tag-along on my journey, see how I am utilizing A.I in an actual revenue-generating business so that you too can automate instead of being overwhelmed with constant updates. I have just unsubscribed my ChatGPT account because I haven't used it in 2+ months now. It's pretty much useless when compared to Claude and all the efficiency it has brought to the table. You will see me religiously using only one LLM i.e Claude. That might change in the next few months, but considering how Claude is shipping out new features on a daily basis, it's the best model I can recommend you to use right now as well. Together with that, for the sake of image and video generation, I use Google's nano banana and VEO mostly but Kling and a few other models are really promising as well. So instead of having individual subscriptions for each of them... We use FREEPIK, it combines all the top image and video models and you can easily switch between any. I like combining Claude with Visual Studio Code because of the fact that I can store the context locally on my computer and because I tend to hit Claude usage limits very often, and I am too cheap to subscribe to a $200/m plan - I just use 2 Claude accounts with the $20/m subscription and switch between them when the limits hit. Plus with Claude shipping out new features like Dispatch/Remote-Control, it's becoming easier by the day to just use Claude to do everything I need done.

The A.I Dilemma
Welcome to the Wild. Show Us Your Setup.
You're here. That means you're done watching from the sidelines. Before we get into the workflows, the builds, and the behind-the-scenes breakdowns, I want to know who's in the room. Drop a comment below with: 1. Your name 2. Where you're from 3. A photo of your workstation (yes, messy desks count) I'll go first. This is where the magic happens. Nothing fancy. Just a desk, a screen, and an AI that does what I tell it to. Every week, I'm going to show you exactly how we use AI to run Gorilla AI. Websites, sales pages, copy, ads, content, and even full software products built from scratch. But this only works if you show up. So let's start here. Introduce yourself. Show us where you work. Let's get to know each other. Drop your comment below.

@Scott McLeod Maddox Welcome Scott! I’m excited you’re here.
Can Claude Cowork replace VS Code?
Just going through the website training for PodGorilla and wonder if the same result is now possible entirely within Claude Cowork?

That’s a good point. Cowork does have access to your folders but I do not believe it has access to your terminal, which is needed to install packages etc. I’d suggest sticking with visual studio also because the context stays local within the chat and if you’re hitting limits too quick, you can signup another account and switch into that easily.
