My current free group, the Thrive Community, is all about health and wellness and releasing the weight that holds us back. I love supporting folks from all walks of life in attaining their health and wellness goals!
One of my passions in the health and wellness fields is intermittent fasting . Many people in my free community are not interested or ready to jump into intermittent fasting since they have sleep issues or other issues that make them wary of fasting for any period of time.
I totally respect that! Fasting is something that should be explored when we don’t have too much cortisol running amok in our system.
It’s a hormetic stressor, like exercise, so it does put some stress on the body. But, it also activates amazing healing, when done mindfully, including autophagy and the creation of stem cells!
It’s a practice that helped me to overcome insulin resistance and release over 70 pounds in less than 6 months. It’s also helped me to feel healthier than I have in many years. I no longer get every single cold that comes around. I’m rarely sick at all.
