I usually struggle to spend money on myself β€” but not this time.
I’ve always had a hard time justifying spending on myself. As a mom, the instinct is to put everyone else first. There’s always something more practical the money could go to.
But yesterday, I went all out.
I bought a new iPhone! Not just for the sake of having the latest phone, but because I’m heading overseas soon and I want to create high-quality content while I travel.
And for the first time, I didn’t battle with the decision. No guilt. No second-guessing.
Because this time, I saw it clearly: this wasn’t just a purchase, it was an investment in myself and in where I’m headed.
I’ve got goals that matter to me. And this is part of backing myself fully.
So here’s to justifying the purchase. Not with guilt, but with pride.
Because I deserve it.
