Lesson 1(Professional Mindset): 3 areas I can tighten: •Social Media Consistency (Scheduling content in advance) • Self- Confidence •Communication/planning future show dates with Artists Lesson 2(prepping for the call): Ready looks like.. - Knowing the music inside and out, even beyond my role(being familiar with other instruments parts) - I’m not second-guessing my musical decisions - I play with confidence and intentionally - Feeling comfortable with the band members. - travel essentials Back up plan: - Extra XLRs - Backup drum heads - USB drive with sounds on them - Extra sticks - Back up sessions(if running playback) - Charger( for laptop) Prep habits: - Good communication between the MD, backline, and production on show day or in rehearsal. - working out - Stretching - Mental quiet time(Journaling or podcasts) - Praying (day of, gather the band/ artist to pray if possible) - Everything is charged and organized - Drum kit visualization on hand(for tech or SE)
