Father day weekend
Firstly, I hope all the fathers out there were spoilt yesterday — and I also raised a glass for those who are no longer with us.
My own dad passed away in 2000 when I was just 12. Every year it’s a reminder to not take life for granted — and recently, it’s also been a reminder for me to cut back on alcohol.
On paper, 1–2 glasses, 1–2 times a week doesn’t feel like much. But the compounding effect over months and years tells a different story.
And it’s not just alcohol.
It’s the belief systems that creep in:
  • “One glass here and there won’t hurt me.”
  • “One more work reply won’t affect my family time.”
The truth? Those small choices do add up.
That’s why I’ve been using reflection and evaluation as a tool — not as a waste of time, but as a way to reset, improve, and hold myself accountable.
This week, my goal is simple: be 1% better than last week.
👉 Raise your hand if you’d like the evaluation template my mental performance coach built for me.
👉 Or better yet — who’s brave enough to use this post as a moment of self-accountability for your own improvement?
