Grandpa's girl
I don't remember my grandfather. My father's father died while he was still a child, and my mother's father died when I was a very little girl, but I remember my own father in the role of the grandfather. It was special and great to watch. As a father, he was very busy and did not have a lot of time for the ten children he parented with my mother. Of course, now you see why his time was so limited. Ten children, a lot of mouths to feed. All that changed when the grandchildren came. I watched as, like the Transformers, he became the superhero I always suspected was hiding inside all along. I swear then, and I am sticking to the idea that my second daughter was his favorite. He knew it, she knew it; actually, we all knew it, but no one ever said it out loud. ... I will finish the story later. Right now I would love to hear from you. Please feel free to introduce yourself. I would love to know who you are, what brings you here today. Tell me about your family. Share your favorite grandparent's story. I'd love to hear it. I look forward to hearing from you
