Jesus and nothing but Jesus
✨ JESUS AND NOTHING BUT JESUS
Everything we are, everything we need, and everything we do flows from one Source: Jesus Christ alone.
Not your strength.
Not your wisdom.
Not your works.
Only Jesus.
Why This Matters
Most believers struggle because they try to live for Jesus without living through Jesus.
They try to:
- Have faith without the One who gives faith
- Walk in purity without the One who purifies
- Fight spiritual battles without the One who already won
- Love God without receiving the love of Christ first
The entire gospel is this:
Jesus is enough. Jesus is everything.
The Foundation: Who Jesus Is
He is the Way
“I am the way, the truth, and the life.” — John 14:6
No shortcuts.
No substitutes.
No other paths.
Jesus is the only road to the Father.
He is the Truth
Truth isn’t an idea.
Truth is a Person.
Knowing Jesus = knowing truth.
Without Him you can breathe and still be dead spiritually.
With Him you can suffer and still live in power.
Everything Begins With Him
Faith Comes From Him
“Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.” — Hebrews 12:2
You can’t build faith without staring at Jesus.
Strength Comes From Him
“Without Me you can do nothing.” — John 15:5
Not “some things.”
Nothing.
Transformation Comes From Him
“Beholding… we are changed into the same image.” — 2 Corinthians 3:18
You don’t change by trying harder.
You change by seeing Him clearer.

Why We Preach Only Jesus
The apostles preached ONE message:
“We preach Christ crucified.” — 1 Corinthians 1:23
“For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.” — 1 Corinthians 2:2
Not self-help.
Not positive thinking.
Not motivational speeches.
Jesus, crucified and risen.
Because:
✔️ His cross destroys sin
✔️ His blood cleanses the conscience
✔️ His Name breaks bondage
✔️ His Spirit empowers obedience
✔️ His Word renews the mind
✔️ His presence brings rest
Everything the believer needs is found in Him.
What Happens When Jesus Becomes the Center
1 — Confusion Leaves
When Jesus is the focus, clarity returns.
Light exposes darkness.
Peace replaces anxiety.
“In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.” — John 1:4
2 — Identity Becomes Clear
When you see Him, you see who you really are.
3 — Temptation Loses Power
Sin is only attractive when Jesus is not being seen.
4 — Prayer Becomes Natural
Prayer is no longer a task… it’s fellowship.
5 — Worship Becomes a lifestyle
His presence becomes your atmosphere.
How to Live a “Jesus and Nothing but Jesus” Life
A. Stay in His Word
Not for information, but for revelation.
B. Stay in Prayer
Not to say words, but to remain connected.
C. Stay Obedient
Obedience is love in action
D. Stay Dependent
Lean on Him for everything.
No self-reliance.
E. Stay Focused
Refuse distractions.
Refuse noise.
Refuse anything that doesn’t point back to Jesus.
You should be known for one thing:
A people obsessed with Jesus.
Not religion.
Not man-made rules.
Not personality.
Not hype.
Just Jesus — His presence, His power, His Word, His love.
When a community lifts Jesus high, God brings:
- Healing
- Deliverance
- Revelation
- Power
- Unity
- Growth
Father, we repent for every place where we made it about anything but Jesus.
Refocus our hearts.
Rebuild our lives on Christ alone.
Fill us with the revelation of His beauty.
Give us eyes to see Him, ears to hear Him, and hearts that burn for Him.
Make this community a place where Jesus is lifted high, honored, obeyed, and loved.
In His Name — Amen.
Without Him you can breathe and still be dead spiritually.
With Him you can suffer and still live in power.
